T he province of Quebec is unique in Canadian confederation as having majority French speakers and different civil law system from other provinces .It has its own Immigration law called ”An act respecting Immigration to Quebec” , its own provincial level immigration ministry called “Service d’ Immigration du Quebec SIQ” and its own point system which differ from the federal Canadian point system as well as its own Immigration offices (visa offices) around the world just like Canada immigration offices.

The personal net worth for that category is CAD $1.6 million and the amount to deposit at the bank is CAD $800,000 for 5 years period.The deposited amount is guranteed by the Quebec provincial government and will repay the investor full amount of CAD $800,000 after the five year period without interest.
The investors who qualify under this category benefit from express processing and their Permanent Resident Visas will be issued for the whole family after successful application and CAD $800,000 is deposited, without the restrictions found within other categories.
Through their Immigrant Investor Program, Quebec welcomes thousands of experienced business people and managers every year, leading to Canadian Immigrant Visas and eventually citizenship for themselves and their family members.
