Procedureplan02

The sponsor starts the Canadian immigration process by obtaining an application forms from the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). The type of application and submission procedure differs depending on the relationship between the sponsor and the applicant, and whether the applicant is abroad or already in Canada.
If the applicant is the sponsor's spouse, common-law partner, conjugal partner or dependent child:

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has introduced a Joint Application Kit that is simpler and easier to use for both sponsors and applicants. The new application process is designed to promote quicker processing by streamlining the receipt of applications.
The sponsor will receive a joint application and kit , including the sponsorship and permanent resident visa application for the family member being sponsored. It is then up to the sponsor to obtain the necessary documents and information from the applicant, whether abroad or in Canada, and submit both the sponsorship and immigrant applications and all supporting documents to the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga, Ontario Canada
If the applicant is outside of Canada, the Case Processing Centre will complete the sponsorship assessment and then send the immigrant portion to a visa office that serves the area where the immigrant applicant lives. The visa office assesses the immigrant's application, interviews the applicant and conducts medical, security and criminality checks.

It is very important for the sponsor to provide accurate information, learn the application process in great detail to avoid error or omission as well as the sponsored relative or spouse to well prepared for the visa interview to provide the accurate information. A simple error or omission may lead to the delay of processing for the years or visa refusal. This type of application has right to appeal on the negative decision on sponsorship application or visa refusal.

We can provide professional service on such applications .We also can represent  you in the case of sponsorship refusal or the visa refusal cases by filing appeal to the Canadian Immigration court (IRB).

As for the application by a spouse or common-law partner under the In-Canada spousal Class sponsorship , including interviews, and medical, security and criminality checks ,will be assessed by a Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) staff in Canada.

The sponsor must submit the Joint Application Kit to the Vegreville, Alberta Canada with the supporting documents. This type of application has no right of appeal and have to prepare carefully to avoid errors.

Other Family Class applications
